Spray Tan Q & A

You will undress and we will do a few quick things like apply barrier cream, put on a cap and put in nose plugs. You will stand in a tent while I spray tan you. I tell you what to do the whole time, so no guessing involved! Its slightly cold and wet but I apply powder and dry before we're done! Super quick and easy!

You will more than likely sleep in your spray tan (if you get sprayed in the PM) and you will rinse your tan off the following morning right away. You may wash your body with spray tan safe body wash at the 20-24 hr mark from the time you got the spray tan.

You will be tan when you wake up the following morning however the tan continues to develop even after you rinse it off. Your tan will be fully developed after 24 hrs.

Rapid tan does not mean you get tan quicker. It just means you can rinse the spray tan off sooner compared to the standard tan. This tan is used when in a pinch and you are unable to stay in the spray tan for at least 8 hrs before rinsing, then we would go the Rapid tan route.

On average they generally last about a week. Longevity of spray tan depends on NUMEROUS factors including but not limited to how well you prepped your skin, product use, PH levels of skin, hormones, how often you shower & sweat, what you wear etc. Some things in your control, some things outside of your control. Most important for a long lasting tan, HYDRATED SKIN.

No. I wouldn't be in business if I made people orange. The only chance of you looking orange is if we try to go too dark for your skin type. 

Short answer, NO. You should not spray tan over sunburnt skin because it will more than likely develop blotchy. Think about it, your skin is compromised where you have sunburn, the tan will likely not develop the same there as it will on your unburnt skin. 

Please wait til after the 24 hr mark to workout and use baby powder where skin rubs to prevent fading/patchy tan.

Yes, It is BEST to wear long sleeves and long pants to avoid skin-to-skin contact. Skin-to-skin contact can mess up your tan while you're processing.

Your spray tan will not just.... come off. Pools, the ocean and hot tubs can cause your tan to not last as long and dry out your skin creating a more noticeable or less natural fade. You may certainly go in pools, hot tubs and the ocean but try to not spend too much time in them and rinse off after if able. 

Immediately after spraying you you will see the BRONZERS, this is not your spray tan. The ingredient that makes your skin tan is CLEAR, you cannot see it on the skin. When you are ready to rinse your tan off all these bronzers will be washed away and you will see that your skin will have started to develop a tan. The initial bronzers are a color guide for your spray tan artist and give that immediate satisfaction of being tan.
